• Your account may only be used for sim sites and files. We do not offer hosting for personal sites, blogs, businesses, etc.
• You must keep your site updated. If your account is dormant for an extended period of time it will be removed and the space will be offered to another person. We have limited space and don't want to waste it on old files just sitting around.
• You must agree not to use your simdirectory.com account simply as a file or image storage account.
• Every page of your site MUST include a disclaimer. This includes pages which are meant to be displayed inside of a frame. A disclaimer outside the frame is not sufficient.
• You may not keep music file formats, executable file formats, applications, or malicious content on your simdirectory.com account.
• You may not display or keep any pornographic material in your simdirectory account.
• All sites must be G-rated. No foul language.
• The Sim Directory and it's owner may not be held responsible for any loss of files, records, or photos. We do back up our site frequently, but we cannot guarantee the recovery of your files should they be deleted. We strongly suggest you make frequent backups of all the files on your account.

• You must agree not to excessively hotlink to images on your simdirectory.com account. We pay for the bandwidth and anyone found abusing the ability to link to pictures on their simdirectory.com accounts from other sites will have their accounts deleted without notification.
• You may NOT hotlink material from others sites under any circumstances. This is a sure fire way to get your account and files deleted immediately.
• You may not use any materials that are under copyright without express written consent. Using copyrighted material on a simdirectory.com subdomain could get the Sim Directory in legal trouble.
• You must agree to take full and sole responsibility for any consequences resulting from any material displayed on your site.
• The Sim Directory and it's owner may not be held responsible for any consequences resulting from the use or misuse of materials on your account.

• You may not, under any circumstances, give out your simdirectory.com ftp or e-mail login information. You are the only person who may access your accounts on the simdirectory.com
• You may not, under any circumstances, use your simdirectory.com e-mail account to send spam (including excessive sim game/board/site advertisements), malicious content, or other illegal material.

• The Sim Directory will make every effort to back up all files in your account and to restore them as quickly as possible in the event of a server crash, hacking, or other unforeseen problems which deletes or damages files at simdirectory.com, however, this is not guaranteed and some or all of your files may not be able to be restored by the Sim Directory.
• The Sim Directory will not tamper with, modify, or add files or e-mails to any hostee's account without prior permission from the hostee. We may, however, delete any or all files of an account if the terms of use have been violated by the hostee.
• The Sim Directory is not obligated to provide any support whatsoever to the hostees. However, we will do our best to help hostees to the best of our abilities.

• Should a hostee be found in violation of these terms of use the Sim Directory reserves the right to delete any and all files, e-mails, and accounts without notification.
• A hostee who has violated the terms of use will no longer be eligible for hosting on simdirectory.com
